11月に台湾で開催されるFreedomHECというLinuxの会議で講演をしてくれないかという依頼が届いていた。送付先を見ると、Andrew MortonやらJames Bottomleyなども含まれている。何故自分のところに送られてきたかわからないが、あきらかに発表者枠以上の人数に送られていたようなので、講演枠が埋まらないうちにエントリーを書いておいた。最近、申し込みを見ると、「どんなイベント」だとか「準備できるか」とか考える前に脊髄が反応して本能的にエントリーする癖がついている（やばいやばい）。
武田隊員は「台湾は食事がおいしいんですよね」と本題と関係ない部分で乗り気だが、熊猫先生はさすが冷静で「この会議にTOMOYOは場違い（招待は何かの間違い）ではないか」と言っている。確かによく考えるとおかしな気がしないでもないが、ここは深く考えすぎると負けだ。仮に招待が間違いだったりしても、台湾に行って「あ、やっぱり間違いでしたか？これは失礼しました」と言ってカラカラと笑い帰ってくるのも豪毅ではないか。これもまたオープンソースの醍醐味である。（とちょっと「ユメのチカラ」的にまとめてみました）
